maram trio: SONOS

MARAM TRIO lleva siete años investigando y creando un nuevo sonido al enlazar las melodías más ancestrales con las armonías más contemporáneas y aportándole un relieve creativo con la improvisación. El proyecto vio la luz en 2006, “Sine Mare Nihil”, gracias al apoyo de tres festivales tan importantes como el Mercat de Música Viva de Vic, el Festival de Música de Torroella de Montgrí y el Festival LEM de Barcelona y, por este motivo, Maram Trio siempre ha valorado positivamente la co-producción de los diferentes programas que ha realizado. El año 2012, el MNAC invita a Maram Trio a ponerle música a la exposición “Cataluña 1400”, donde encuentran el equilibrio natural entre el lenguaje de la música medieval (Ars nova y Ars subtilior) y la improvisación y el contrapunto más actual interpretados con instrumentos de la época. El proyecto del trío, a pesar de ser de pequeño formato, ha sido de largo recorrido y, por ello, se ha convertido en el fruto del profundo conocimiento artístico entre sus componentes. Por eso, después de años de música e investigación, ahora es cuando decide grabar Sonos (2014), una selección de los diferentes repertorios que han ofrecido en sus conciertos los últimos años. El nuevo disco SONOS cuenta con la pintura del artista Perico Pastor en la portada y con las fotografías de J.M. Morales.
