Songs of exile and paths
A musical journey through the most significant songs that best express these sad periods in the lives of all those people who have to leave their lands unjustly. This repertoire aims to encompass political exiles, labor exiles (migrations), longings and farewells to life. I hope we do n’t have to make more songs of exile!
Despite the often painful themes, this show moves from emotion, to love, to solidarity, to humor and also, why not? to the most vital and hopeful melodies and songs of resistance.
The objective is to make people aware and remember where we come from and where we are currently. It is also important to recreate and interpret once again these musical and literary themes by 20th century authors.
